The State v. Shaurn Thomas

Domingo Martinez was murdered on the morning of November 13, 1990 in Philadelphia as he drove to his business with $25,000 in the car with him. Four years later, Shaurn Thomas was arrested for the murder, even though on the morning that Martinez was killed, Thomas had been at the city's Youth Intake Center for having attempted to steal a motorcycle the night before. Despite his alibi, and his claim of innocence, Thomas was convicted and sentenced to life without parole.
